God our creator has given to mankind not only the gift of language, but also the gift of music. Through language man can interact at the conscious level of their being, use his cognitive mind to analyse and determine the meaning of any messages received. Music is another wonderful medium God has given to mankind. Music can sometimes combined with lyrics to directly convey certain thought and meaning, moreover the musical sound is capable of inspiring particular emotion or mood at the subconscious realm. Jesus said the greatest command is: “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30) It teaches us that we shall love God with our total being, total means at both at the conscious as well as the subconscious realm. A total worship is from body, mind, spirit, so it is not just at the conscious realm using language as our expression, but also the subconscious realm which is delivered through music.
The goal and mission of CCMM is to work with churches through the use of sacred hymns and anthems, will draw the congregation closer to God to experience a deeper and more beautiful worship that will convert the gospel seekers and edify the believers.
